Under 13 (Yr 8)
Our Under 13 (Year 8) cricket experience offers options for both new and competitive cricketers. We offer a new T20 format which is about more fun, more action, more balls in play, and developing better skills. T20 games are fast, so you don’t have to lose your weekend. The Under 13 (Year 8) season is broken into two school terms, so you can choose to play the full season or just Term 4 (pre-Xmas). There is also the option to play T20 cricket on Thursday evenings. Whether you are new to cricket or a seasoned player Hibiscus Coast Cricket Club has what you need.
We offer the following options for Under 13 (Year 8) girls and boys:

Hard Ball Smash T20 Saturday - Under 13 (Yr 8)
Half Season - $100
- Twenty20 (20 overs per innings)
- Saturday morning 9.30-12pm or afternoon 12.30-3pm depending on team numbers
- Game time approx. 2.5 hours
- 9 players per team
- Generally played regionally (i.e. North Shore/West however may be Auckland wide depending on the number of teams, grade etc)
- Professional coach mentoring
- Abdominal protector, club playing shirt and white pants required. The club provides the rest.
Limited Overs
Hard Ball Smash Limited Overs 30 - Under 13 (Yr 8)
Half Season - $100
- Limited overs (30 overs per innings)
- Saturday afternoon 12.30-4pm
- Game time approx. 3.5 hours
- 9 players per team
- Played Auckland wide
- Professional coach mentoring
- Abdominal protector, club playing shirt and white pants required. The club provides the rest.
- Note this is a graded team and trials will be held followed by a selection process after which the team will be formed.
Notes:
- Depending on numbers we may not be able to offer all of the options above but we will find a team for you.
- All Coaches need to sit the Advanced Foundation for Hard Ball Smash.
- All players, coaches and supporters must adhere to the club expectations and code of conduct.
